This place was the official meeting point/hanging place/place when to blunk class for Excellence college folks... This restuarant is situated near my graduation college where I used to have great time with all my college mates... Not only me, but every one in my college used to chill out here... Igloo is, I guess, matured with us... During the time we entered into our graduation college, this place is opened almost during that time period... We saw the deleveopment of this place to this current situation, of which, this photo is attached....
There were umpteen memories of this place related to our hangouts, various occasions etc... Whenever we wanted to go out of the college, the first name ever came to our brain was Igloo... It was couples zone as well, Many love stories blossomed at this place and might be possible, few of them got ended too... We used to go there with our college buddies group.. We encircled around one/or two tables.. We were always short of chairs, so we had to arrange it from here and there... But it was fun.. Even though we used to go here with our friends, but there were lot many friends or acquaintances from other batches and faculties too, so we were never stagnant at our table. Going here and there... Eating pieces of foods stuffs from other tables as well... Shouting, Pulling legs, Talking in Slangs .. This was the common scene of Igloo irrespective of any batch.. We often went for contribution or one person/one dish.. But never restricted to one's own ordered food item, we had to have others' foods also even though we hadn't shared ours in first hand.... Our professors started knowing that if we are not in the classes, we might be over there at Igloo... During interrogation, they asked (if they catched any student who was bunking) that "Were you at that restaurant, what it calls, ahhh Igloo??" And answer was used to be this " No Sir, We were at college itself." Though I was never caught into such situations but I know many of them who were....
About food items... they were as common as found in other normal restaurants around the city... But there was craze of Potato 65.. This name became cliche. everyone used to order it while giving order... Though my favorite dish was Noodles and I always had it... There were some other famous ordered food itmes like Veg Kothe, Chiily Mushrooms etc.. Now they have some new items in their menu... People used to have icecreams at this place... And they had fruit beers in their Menu, but truely speaking, It wasn't that impressive...
I went there in group, alone, with 2-3 buddies... Igloo holds good place in the memories section of my brain... That's why I decided after coming back to Bhopal that whenever I get time, I try to chill out with friends at Igloo... So Its become ritual now that in weekend, Me and my some of the friends gather here to chill out and to feel nostalgic.. This is the fact that whenever we come here, we always talk about erstwhile college days, those funny moments, about old friends and all the incidents related to college, which is hardly 1Km far from Igloo..

Ah! College memories got rejuvenated... nicely chosen subject "Igloo" seriously deserves a blog entry... Ihave been to Igloo mostly with my hostel mates.. but often used to find Excellence folks over there. Every word of your blog is a truth & is a part of mystic fable of my Excellence years!
Igloo($)... Ya i remember.. quite often i felt like going there during my college days.. A place like $ can always be a good platform for discussing academic/non academic stuff that too between 2 class of students. The one who know things and the others who want to know things. I developed that spirit only during my post grads. And ofcourse when i use to chat with my buddy vips on phone. Economic and political interactions do come very often during our regular gossips. Not all, i feel but scholars who have posted their comments so far do come under the class of people who knows lot of stuff and 'can' be a good source for bringing quality discussions in any place like $. I remember the afternoon spent near lake boozing with my sweet buddy ahh... we did discuss some quality stuff.. Far from $
