Still Waitin'

Witness of Whole History Of This Case Which Was Now Getting To Its Final Result.. I Was There Whole Time In The Moments Of Happiness And Sadness.. I Was There To Provide My Shoulders To Cry, To Share All Those Little Reasons Of Instant Hopes, Cheeriness And Getting Inspired.. Why I Wasn't Now In The Picture.. Why I'm LEFT Out.. Though That Person Was Always Significant And I Knew About My Status But I Did Hold Some Value, Value of Sharing That Final's Result News. Because I'm The One Who Could Actually Reciprocate That Excitement.. I Was Whole Time Supporting Through This On/Off Relationship.. Now I'm Don't See Myself..

Whole Matrix of Relationship Has Been Changed Now. Those Who Weren't Talking, Now Having Best of Relationship, Those Who Promised To Stay Together Are Gone In Their Own Directions. I Still Remember All Those Times Which Are Now Part Of Nostalgia Of That Particular Period. Where Friendship Got Evolved...

2009 Was The Year.. We Had Last Of Proper Communication.. After Than Communication Gap Started Taking Place.. I'm Now Sick Of This Term "Communication Gap", It Ruined Few Of My Best Relationships..

Though Due To This Public Place Of Blogs And My Not Writing Down Whole Thing Elaborately Made Me To Write This Brief Blog But Ulitmately I Would Still Wish Of Having Again In Touch And Still Waiting of Getting Informed By .....!!

By The Way Still Writing This "Sad" Blog Made Me Smile Even Because While Writing It, The Various Spent Days & Hours Were Running In My Mind Like Film And It Has Even Some Happy Ones Too (And Nice Slow Songs Playing In Background) Which "Caused" Me Smiling!! I May Hope Optimistically, I Think. I Will Always Wish You The Best.

North Korea Frm d Eyes of Indian "Armchair" Foreign Affairs Specialist

Just Came To Know About North Koran Firing On South Koran Island... This Made Me To Write About What I Feel About North Korea, Which I Kept On Thinking From Few Days.. Everyone Knows About Korean War And How The Present Scenario of North & South Korea Formed.. A Big Difference Between Them Is North One Is Communist And South One Is Capitalist.. North Korea Out of Its Staunch Communism Is Facing Various Problems Inside It, Which Often Not Get Space In Newspapers Due To Its "Closed" Nature Of Not Allowing Anyone To Find Out What's Actually Happening.. South Korea, On The Contrary, Is Coming To Known As One Of The Developed Nation Out Of Its Capitalist Economy.. It Has So Many MNCs Working In Various Sectors And Mainly People Getting So Many Benefits Out Of This Prosperity...

North Korea, I Often Wonder How's Life Within Its Boundaries.. How People Live In Such Atmosphere Where You're Not Allowed To Speak Your Mind, You're Not Allowed To Raise Questions Over National Governance, You're Not Allowed To Know What's Happening Around You And In The World Due To Strong Media Censor, You've Only Government Run Media Sources Which Are Highly Biased.. All These Factors May Attribute To Typical Communism System.. But In Today's "Too Much Information" World, How Do North Koreans Feel..?

Obviously By Some Illegal And "Underground" Sources, North Koreans Must Have Known About South Koreans' Prosperities..? North Koreans Must Be Getting Brainwashed By Its "Government" So That They Can't Protest Or Raise Their View. Fact!

I Remember One Documentary Regarding North Koreans, I Watched On TV.. There Was One Doctor Got Rare Opportunity To Have Eye Camp At North Korea.. After The Operations Done, Those Who Got Benefit From It, Rather Saying One Or Two Words Of Gratitude To Doctor, Kept On Thanking Their "Head Of Government" For "Giving" Them This "Benefit" And Were Saying In Return They Will Work More And Efficiently At Their Respective Work Places To "Contribute" More In "Developing North Korea"... And Also Some "Responsible" Government's Officers Were There To "Observe" Whole Camp And Its Working.. So Obviously, Why Those Poor North Koreans Would Get Themselves Into Troubles By Not "Properly" Acknowledging Their "Favorite" Leader For This "Help'..

North Korean's Top Leaders Get Support From China And China- USA Differences Also Cover Korean Issue!! South Korea Is Especially Interested In North-South Unification.. But What Will Be The Consequences.. As Per My Observations, It'll Be Highly Against Of China's Interests. China, Who Wants To Have Its Communist Ally's Position Intact, Would Get "Alone" If This Unification Happens.. Though North Korean "Autocratic Government" May Not Want This Unification, As Why Would They Give Up Such A Autocratic Grip Over Country So Easily.. But They May Allow Some Freedom From Restrictions Of North-South Koreans Mingling.. But Any Such Steps Can Lead To Further Things Which Can "Someday" Result Into Unification. Its Possible.. But If This Happens, Obviously South Part Of Peninsula Will Get Leverage Over North Due To Its Economic And Political Strongness And Automatically U.S. Will Come In The Picture.. Why Would China Risk It By Already Having Some U.S. Allies In That Areas Like South Korea And Japan.. So Definitely It'll Try To Jeopardize The Process, If It Takes Place.

For Now, We Can Expect Status Quo With Mild Tensions Between Them And No Drastic Changes In North Korea's Perception!

Hindi - Ameriki Bhai Bhai!!

Now Mr Obama Visited India... I Guess This Must Be Sort Of Relief For Delhi Elite, Who Were Earlier Disappointed By Obama's Not Calling Them Immediately Coming To Power..(Jokes Apart)!!

Obama's Tour To India Has Or Has't "Created" The History.. But It Surely Relieved US For Having All Those Deals Which Will Generate Jobs Over There... This Time, By My Point Of View, India Didn't Behave Like Desperate By Having US Prez On Its Land, Rather It Was US, Who Wanted So Many Assurances From India, And Gave Some Expected (And Unexpected) Promises And Declarations In Return.. I Think, Its One Of The Unspoken Practices In International Relations That When You Visit Other Country, Say Only Those World Which Are Music To The Ear Of That Particular Country. (Even That Includes, Saying Random Words In Main Language Of That Country).

Obama's Indian Parliament Speech, Was Full Of Such "Music" Like Considering India A Risen Power, Its Cultural And Social Role and Esp Supporting Its UNSC Permanent Seat Cause, Even Though It'll Take Time... Everyone Knows His India Trip Was Purely Economical But That's What Everyone Eying India For.. But US Should Also Consider India A Strategic Partner Like Bush Times..

As I Found One Point Of Leader Of Opposition In Lower House Of Parliment, Ms Sushma Swaraj's Talk To Obama, Appropriate:

"Swaraj said she told Obama that there were "loud whispers" that India was being seen as a market and Pakistan as An Ally."

Obama's Visit Is Also Significant This Time, As it Doesn't Include Pakistan, Even For Few Minutes... Otherwise It Was Common For All Previous US Presidents To Visit India And Pakistan Altogether To Have Balance In Their South Asian Visits.. But Obama's Visit Broken This Convention And It Created A Uproar In Pakistan's Elites.. As They Are Saying Now That Washington Doesn't Consider New Delhi And Islamabad On Same Platform.. But Again I'd Include Few Lines Of One Views Of Person From Pakistan Itself, Mr Mosharraf Zaidi,
Why US Skipped Pakistan:

"Pakistan is a country that the United States is paying $3.5 billion in total, because without this money Pakistan threatens to go Talibankrupt. That $3.5 billion is going to come from the American taxpayers’ paycheck. Its money they’re forced to pay because of the gullibility and guilt of centrist American politicians. In contrast, India is a country that is going to spend more than $10 billion to buy American goods and services, and in that process, will help create 50,000 jobs, and the paychecks that go with them. Now ask yourself which country is going to get special treatment?

Indian Newspapers Esp Vernacular Ones After Obama's India Trip, Are Concerns About Indo-US Business Deals Which They Are Saying "Quick Yield Profit" For US But For India, Mostly Are Taking Long Time To Get Desired Results... But Overall It Shows That US Needs India.. But Same It Needs China Too That's Why Obama Didn't Mention China Anywhere In His Speech. Most Probably India Must Have Mentioned Its Concerns About China, May Have Needed Some Assurances From US Side.. But In Closed Rooms Discussion, Whatever US Assured, Who Knows, But It Was Too Careful To Say Anything Related To China On Media..

At Last, In Some Points, I'll Conclude, How Obama's Trip To India Is Positive:

1) US Will Endorse/Consider India's Permanent Seat In UNSC In Coming Future.

2) US Skipped Pakistan In Its India Trip

3) US Considers India As A "Emerged" Country.. (But Obama's Little Early In Saying This, Read This Article. http://the-diplomat.com/indian-decade/2010/11/09/has-india-emerged/)

4) US Finds India's Role In Developing Afghanistan Important.

5) US Rejects To Play Role In Negotiating Kashmir Problem Between India And Pakistan.

6) US Removed Some Bans On Some High Duel Use Technologies.

7) US Used Some "Cliche" Lines Of Urging Pakistan To Control All Terrorist Activities On Its Land And Giving Punishment To 26/11 Culprits..

But US Wants JOBS, JOBS And JOBS................

I'm Going To Follow Indian & World Newspapers For The Development Of The Events After US Declarations In India.

Ek Excursion, Dosto Ke Saath (One Excursion With Friends)

Ultimately our gang plan of visiting outside of Bhopal materialized.. We Made Plan of going to Bhimbetka, A World Heritage Site Famous for Stone Age Rock Paintings.. Here Its Travelogue.

We decided to assemble at Arpita's Place around 9:30 am and as usually Harry arrived with his 15-20 minutes late punctuality.. There we proceeded for our journey to Bhimbetka with all home prepared food stuffs.. Throughout all the way We all were having hilarious time with tracks playing in the car and pulling each others' legs like always.. I esp selected tracks to be played in the car "saath samundar par. ankhiyo ke goli mare, bebo me bebo. dil mera lelo etc".. Which were so awkward but gave us reason to laugh like anything. I played Britney's songs then, which all of them rejected and said "band kar yeh britney"... So we switched over to Wake-Up Sid songs which all of us admire... We made videos on digicam which confirms that we all are "mental"...

So We reached vicinity of Bhimbetka, 45Km far from Bhopal.. We first halted at M.P. tourism "Highway Treat".. There We all were going crazy over "jhoolas", phisalpatti" which were actually meant for Kids. Finally We arrived Bhimbetka, There its in Lush green jungle in the Ratapani Wildlife Sanctuary and In the Abode of Mother Nature. Bhimbetka is a perfect for knowing the life and activities of Primitive men who once inhabited it back 10000 years.. Rock Paintings were made by them in different stages of Stone age, show all hunting, processions, animals, living scenes.. These Paintings are to be seen with proper observation to get there their ideas clearly and obviously We were rather too busy in enjoying ourselves and posing for cameras then seeing those paintings ;)..

The weather was clear but humid but the forest provided much relief.. There is one view point which offer downhill view of other part of sanctuary.. There we rested Under various rocks shelters And caves.. And resumed our leg pulling activity which were totally insane and leaving no one from it..

Now it was mid noon and Girls in gang were tired and starved. So we went to near by rock temple out of main Bhimbetka Premise. It's got some rock platforms where one can have lunch over it. But climbing over them is hell different and all of us created "scene" when we climbed over it one by one. We arranged our food stuffs.. Arpita and Aditi brought Puri sabzi n Bade, Harry and Bhavna brought Idli Sambar And I brought Allo Ke Parathe, Achar and Namkeen & Sweets.. We All attacked over them and Filled our stomach.. After that, We played playing cards and It was good time...

We then drove back to Bhopal and halted at Amer Green Eating Joint On The Way, There We cooled Ourselves with mock tails and I started doing "tuchhagiri" over share of money all of them had to give me for the various expenses I paid in this trip.. We made the video of it and it's too weirdly funny.. :))..

While on Way Back Home, We diverted bit to visit Bhojpur Shiv Temple.. But Only Spending little time there, we all tired but happily satisfied with this excursion, proceeded back to Bhopal.

Sad And Disturbed :(

Since I've given Civil Service Paper, I've been sick.. I guess this started while giving that paper. Acute feeling of Emptiness attacked me.. Till then My Mind is full of Crap thoughts.. I know My Mind is not at peace for almost two-three years .. Fear, I'm in fear, I've been in fear continuously. One fear gone and new fear comes.. I guess, to remove old fear, I need new fear.. So feeling of Emptiness is also a kind of new fear.. Fear of Expectations, Comaprisons.. My mind is totally screwed up.. The More I'm writing here, the More I'm feeling relaxed.. I don't have that habit in me of sharing my pains to others.. Whenever I talk to others I talk positive and sharing other's pain.. Talking about my Pain, I feel like I won't explain them properly, will only make others confused. Now days, I feel like useless, I feel like I've lost midway.. I Feel I'm stuck somewhere, I feel like I've forgotten what I wanted to do.. I feel like all my previous decisions were wrong.. Though before CSP, I was into various fears but I was kind of busy.. Even whole May, I was into so many exams, that I was really occupied but since giving CSP, I felt what I'm gonna do, now... CSP result is gonna come out in August. but I'm feeling weird with myself.. I need some works to feel occupied... Last day, I felt so bad whole day, even in night, whenever I woke up in gaps, I started feeling tensed.. I always tell myself about various spritual fundas to feel better.. I constantly tell myself that I've a best & luxurious life, one could ever imagine, I have best parents and family.. my life has been excellent so far (with all kind of up and downs).. I've a cool bunch of friends and everyone in them are simply best.. I'm still 24 and My life is full of opportunities for various things, Just I need to look to them.. I'm younger son in my family so obviously pressure and expectation are much low on me... I've been given freedom to pursue any career. And on whatever position, my life is now, is just because of choices I made and I'm happy I made those choices... But Still those bad feelings arise from nowhere and My mind get the work to resist those feelings and I become sucked up... I feel like time is running out, I feel like I'm still sleeping. I'm feeling like I'm unable to fulfill social expectations on me to be accepted by society... All those preconcieved notions which were kinda of dormant in my mind earlier, now suddenly rose up and make me feel more bad and sick...

I know my condition is more mentally built up rather than reality.. I look to those people who face more severe problems, those who live life full of adversities.. I feel much calm but I again succmbed to those feelings... I need a big spiritual healing.. I'm literally feeling really bad and I know whatever I wrote here, explained my condition only 30%.. Mind and feelings, their conditions, cant be explained exactly in words... Sharing these feelings with parents is just impossible.. With Indians parents, you have one problem, that's communication gap.. Though They literally love you but still with friends you can be much more yourself in compare to parents... Still with me, situation is different, I dont share sad things even with friends.. I don't believe in sharing pains with other, I rather prefer positivity. I come with smiling face and happy mood in front of others.. but its not always happy in mind too.. :(!

India: Time to Be Regionally Active

With The current scenario going on in International Arena and related aspects, I suggest India should be more regionally active in International Diplomatic Scene.. Being a Sovereign country, Its has all rights to make decisions in the sake of its national interest rather then depending on 'others' interests.. I feel one can be world important country if It become influential in its own region first and it applies on India too.. It may have potential to hold leverage in World level but what's its importance when it can't have good terms with regional neighbors.

The term of Bush Presidency is over and with that the Indo-US great cooperation.. With new Obama Presidency, India is now kind of out of US diplomatic radar. With This earlier Indo-US new found 'friendship' India had nearly lost its some of all weathered friends and created apprehension in some neighbouring countries.. Its very clear that US has tendency of using other countries for its own motives and then leave it after on its own. It was time of illusion of accomplishment when we were in US's 'good book'. But it hardly benefited us, excluding Indo-US nuclear deal, which is beneficial in some other way to India (though basically for US only).

Some current events shows India have started renewing its relations with its old allies and making some good progress in diplomatic field. First I would mention Indo-Bangladesh relation. With new government of Sheikh Hasina and her India visit, We have come across to greater understanding and spirit of Mutual cooperation, Bangladesh, with its recent election proved the fact that common people always want Peace and Progress and that's why all those parties preaching religious fundamentalism have suffered defeat. India has also made good progress in rebuilding its relation with Bangladesh and Now out of all neighboring countries, It seems, that After Bhutan, India's having good friendship spirit with Bangladesh.

Russian Prime Minister Putin state visit, India & Russia have seemed to regain its old and positively cordial relation. Many matters were discussed and Russia's declaration of not selling Arms and Weapons to Pakistan is significant. With Russia's support India can have some ground in regional scene. India and Russia have been great friends and It was only Russia which have helped India unconditionally.

India must work hard to have good relation with Iran, which has faced few setbacks after India's voting in IAEA and further prejudices created with India becoming pro US. India must go after IPI project. India and Iran mutual cooperation can be helpful in making India's role further significant in Afghanistan and undermining Pakistan role. India's decision of attending meeting "Nuclear Energy for all- Nuclear Weapon for None" (despite US objection) is positive step in having good relation with Iran.

With China, India needs rather different point of view for building proper relation. After 1962 war, we have adopted more defensive policy for China. Being the two oldest civilizations in the world, Indians and Chinese still don't have proper understanding and exposure of each other. Still these two nations hold so many misconceptions between them. China side stills trying to calculate India's various policies including on Tibetan issue and India side still intimidated of another China attack. We need massive confidence building program with basic level. We have to find out basic points on which we can have good relation and with new found amicability, we can sort out other issues esp border demarcation.

India must not be some other country's 'Concubine' but must have its own strong holding in World affairs with good understanding in Its regional area and players.

Symobolism & Tourism: British Cememteries in India

Tourism is a field which deal with tourists and related aspects. (People travel, to distant parts of the world, or around their neighbourhood, to see great buildings, works of art, learn new languages , experience new cultures and to taste different cusines). Every aspects have certain symbols which represents them and this symbolism make it possibe in categorisation. It helps in making people to know about sites, actvities, added benefits, food, accomodations, transport, wildife, etc... In tourist brochures, you get to see differect symbols to make you understand various things like what is that place famous for, what are different kind of tourism activities one getting in place, what are different modes of transport is availabe in that place by denoting symbols of rail, air, ship etc, the level of accomodation availabe there and so many things...To understand this point, see any tourist catalogue, various symbols are depicted to convey the idea of attraction of particular place, region etc, is having,.. Likewise religious tourism is one of the aspect of tourism in india and various religious symbols are related to different religions and highlighting these symbols make it simple to highlight that particular religion, whose sites are to be promoted...

Here to take this relation further, I'm taking case of Brtish Cemeteries in India which are main highlight of emerging trend of Cemetery tourism in India. Few structures built for a utilitarian purpose evoke such complex emotions as Cemetries. Though being in nascent stage, it holds great leverage to attract tourists esp. foreigners. In India, one of the forgotten but important relics of British Raj's legacy is British people cemeteries which are ignored but spread all over India from Gilgit in North to Chennai in south. India is profusely dotted by British graves and obelisks from Mussorie to Madurai, Calcutta to Calicut. It might cause lively surprise to readers to learn that there is a lone British grave in Lakshadweep. British who came to India (including all officers & commoners,) who lived their part of life in India and succumbed to death while residing here or died in wars battles, were all buried in different part of India wherever they stationed or died. With my personal experience of visitng some of these cemeteries in Panchmarhi, Kanpur etc, One should see these places and watch the names engraved on headstones on graves of people who were livied in this country and contributed in their own way in history. These sites are symbols of erstwhile era, the time which passed, the various battles, predicaments faced by these people while living.

Death is the final darkness at the end of life. It has been both feared and worshipped since the beginnings of history. For this reason, our civilization has dreamed up countless practices and rituals to deal with and perhaps understand it. Maybe because of the mystery that surrounds death, people have chosen to immortalize death with stones and markers that tell about the people who are buried beneath them. They take the bodies of those whose spirits have departed
and place them in the ground, or in the enclosure of the tomb, and place a monument over these remains that speaks of the life once lived. This is not only out of respect for the dead because it also serves as a reminder for the living. It also reminds of the person who has died. Years later it becomes a symbol of existence for the person long dead, sometimes the only clue left on landscape that the person once existed.

But most significantly, these cemeteries holds special interest for those present generations whose ancestors were once served and lived in British colonial times in India. These are symbols of family connections and genealogies for them. While many tombstones were simple reminders of the name of the person and the age when they died, others are more elaborate and often include some type of symbol that represents an element of the persons life. Though after
independence, people used to come to see their forefathers tombs but its been latest craze among present generation to visit cemeteries to see their various gone relatives cemeteries whose stories they have heard in their family. With it governmental and various agencies are teamed up to renovate and highlight these sites in tourists plans to cater tourists, that are coming to see them.. With a rich colonial past, India is having wider scope in this trend. To name few, Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Darjeeling, Jhanshi, Gorakhpur, etc. And that's why numbers of states are including this trend in their tourism manifesto. In Coming years It'll be emerging trend in Indian Tourism.

Decaying colonial-era European graveyards in India became targeted for conservation starting in the 1970s by the British Association for Cemeteries in South Asia (BACSA). Cemeteries serve as a barometer signaling how both ex-colonizers and the ex-colonized have assessed colonial spaces, artifacts, and empire more generally after decolonization. Alongside working to preserve graveyards and record tombstone inscriptions in the Indian subcontinent, BACSA members--many of whom count as "old India hands"--also helped make Raj a recurring feature of British public culture in the late twentieth century . Founded by individuals who had spent a considerable part of their lives in India prior to its independence in 1947, BACSA aims to preserve knowledge of colonial India in several interconnected respects. As its name implies, its primary goal concerns the many European graveyards scattered throughout the subcontinent. First and foremost, the group has worked to record inscriptions on tombstones and photograph them for posterity, an endeavor made all the more important because of the decrepit condition of many cemeteries. Second, BACSA seeks to preserve and restore some of the more important graveyards--Kolkata's South Park Street Cemetery prominent among these--and thereby arrest their physical decline. These converge in its broader aim of spreading messages about Britain's past in India, not only through caring for its material remains overseas but also through telling new stories of the colonial era to Britons and Indians alike, largely through publications. BACSA now has close to 2,000 members, most of whom are based in Britain, although a significant minority live overseas.

British Cemeteries stand as the reminder to us of the difference between our past and present. Some even look at cemeteries of the colonial times as the places for ghostly beings. But none the less in form of tales of Ghosts or other stories they have slowly become part of our lives and there are numerous ways in which we relate to it.

Symbolism is the much wider and rather philosophical point which is wider range and incorporates all fields of subjects and become integral part of them and with much possbile ways to interpret their importance in particular subeject in concern. With Tourism, it also shares same relation.
